Senior Kentucky Representatives Mary Lou Marzian (D-Louisville), and Ruth Ann Palumbo (D-Lexington) have co-sponsored House Bill 117 to prohibit discrimination in employment, housing, credit, and accommodations, because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Today, it is legal in Kentucky to fire someone, deny them housing, or refuse them access to public services or credit because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

It's time to end this discrimination and treat all Kentuckians equally.

The discrimination and exclusion of people because of the sexual orientation or gender identity undermine the integrity and dignity of our great Commonwealth.
