The Commonwealth of Kentucky hereby reclaims its sovereignty under the 10th Amendment to U.S. Constitution.
Take action by Tuesday, March 30, 2010

Declare state
sovereignty over powers not given to the
federal government by the U.S. Constitution
(such as the U.S. Defense of Marriage
Act, or DoMA; click here
for additional information); demand the
federal government to cease mandates beyond
constitutionally delegated powers; prohibit
federal legislation requiring state passage of
laws under threat of penalties or sanctions;
direct the Clerk to distribute copies of the
Resolution.
The scope of power
defined by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S.
Constitution means that the federal government
was created by the states specifically to be an
agent of the states.
The Commonwealth of Kentucky hereby
reclaims its sovereignty under the Tenth
Amendment to the Constitution of the United
States over all powers not otherwise enumerated
and granted to the federal government by the
Constitution of the United
States.
This Resolution serves as notice and
demand to the federal government, as our agent,
to cease and desist, effective immediately,
mandates that are beyond the scope of these
constitutionally delegated
powers.
Kentucky Pledge of
Allegiance: "I pledge allegiance to the
Kentucky flag, and to the Sovereign State
for which it stands, one Commonwealth, blessed
with diversity, natural wealth, beauty, And
grace from on High."
